"I found 3D to be really interesting, because the actors were more upfront emotionally. Their slightest move, their slightest intention is picked up much more precisely.”

This project focuses on improving the technology of the 3D filming experience. My main focus is the parallax adjustment(manual operation) and the angle of convergence(for the automatic parallax solving).
The main aspect of the prototype created is the ability of controlling the cameras convergence ,and viewing it in realtime, thus using this to track objects in motion, ability that the human vision system has by nature.

Similar to a focus puller the parallax control will be done by a person viewing in realtime the 3D effect using a 3D Head Mounted display such as Oculus Rift or any other 3D display system such as a 3DTV.

The aim of this project is to research, build and evaluate an affordable wireless 3d camera rig, which will emulate the perception of human eye vision and offer the possibility to view live what the cameras are “seeing”

This prototype will enable cinematographers to emulate and control the human eye convergence, thus creating natural 3D moving images.
This system is intended to give a more natural feel to the recorded content.
It is intended to have 2 control modes:

* full manual control : by a manual 2 axis joystick control(v1.0) or wireless bluetooth control using a smartphone (v2.0),

* full automatic (v3.0) using kinked depth sensors or ultrasonic distance measurer devices.

* FPV capability (v4.0)

The device is intended to operate completely wireless, giving it freedom to be placed on various existing camera rigs such as steady cams, sliders, gimbals or drones.
